If you donate online, an automated digital tax receipt will be emailed to you immediately. For donations sent by mail or made in person, written receipts are processed and mailed out within 10 to 14 business days.
To keep our national shipping and logistics highly efficient, we primarily accept bulk corporate donations of new goods. For individuals, we accept specific food and hygiene items during active collection drives at our Sandusky hub. We generally cannot accept used clothing or used furniture due to sorting and sanitation constraints.
Yes. While unrestricted gifts give our rapid-response teams the greatest flexibility to handle unheadlined emergencies, our online donation portal allows you to choose to direct your funds toward a specific active national relief campaign or our local Sandusky Anchor Initiative.

Our logistics hub in Sandusky maintains a pre-stocked inventory of emergency supplies. Once a major domestic crisis occurs (such as a hurricane, wildfire, or severe flood), our rapid-assessment teams deploy within hours, and supply chains are mobilized across state lines within 24 to 48 hours.
